Director of Utilities
Position Description:
- Overall administration and management of the universities mechanical, and low, medium and high voltage electrical systems. Management of University staff to support the mechanical and electrical systems as well as securing skilled outside contractors for repair and maintenance. Additionally, oversight of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing review and design preparation for all projects, under the direction of the Planning and Projects group.

Qualifications:
- Prior to arriving at Santa Clara University I was the Director of Facilities for the Cupertino Union School District for 18 years and prior to that I worked at San Jose State University as the electrical manager. I have been have been in the Facilities/Construction field now for over 34 years.
- I received my B.A. in Business at Saint Mary’s College of California in 2000
- I will receive my MBA from Saint Mary’s in June of 2022.
Hobbies: Golf, backpacking, softball and archery
“My hometown is Sunnyvale, California. I fell in love with building things in high school. My first large scale electrical construction project was completing the electrical control wiring for the NASA/Ames Research Center’s Full-Scale 40 x 80 x 120 foot wind tunnel.”
