Sullivan Aquatic Center

In 2008, the Sullivan Aquatic Center was opened to the Santa Clara University community. The pool is located between the Leavey Center and the Pat Malley Fitness and Recreation Center. The new pool is Olympic-sized, which is twice as long and 25% wider than the previous pool. There are seven lanes open for recreational swimming while the remaining lanes are used for water polo practices and games. In the future, there are hopes that a movable divider will be put in place in order to allow the water polo team to practice and recreational swimmers to use the pool simultaneously.
