Benson Memorial Center was built in 1963 and later remodeled and expanded in 1984. Benson is the main student-oriented facility on campus. When first constructed, Benson housed sixteen billiard tables, eight bowling lanes, the Red Lounge, and a hair salon. Today, you will find the main dining area, known as the Marketplace, the Mission Bakery and Café, an after-hours eatery "The Bronco," the Cellar Market, the campus Post Office, and many student-based organizations.
