Submit an Event Request and be sure to review our Aerial Fire Lane Map. We'll do our best to adjust our irrigation schedule to accommodate your needs.

The Landscape Maintenance crew aims to preserve the beauty of the university. It is through their hard work that SCU students, staff, faculty and visitors get to experience the attractive setting of the campus day in and day out.

The majority of the campus is irrigated with recycled water: A plentiful and safe source at approximately 60% savings over potable water.

Gardener Schedule - 06:00 AM-02:30 PM Monday-Friday Irrigation Schedule: 11:00 PM-07:00 AM Sunday-Friday

Irrigation Schedule Exceptions:

  • Newly planted areas
  • Irrigation testing

Daily Serviced Areas:

  • Trash bin waste containers  
  • Parking lots
  • Landscape areas  
  • Sidewalk clearing (pending season)

Mowing, edging, and line trimming

  • Schedule is based on specific zone
  • Begins at academic buildings followed by residential areas. 

Each gardener is responsible for all aspects of landscape care within their area, outlined in the Landscape Zones Map. Our landscape technicians - Tony Nunes, Robert Reis, and Brad Weight are responsible for all irrigation repairs. Tony maintains the Stanton and Bellomy fields, including the layout and striping. Brad works with specialty landscape equipment campuswide. Robert maintains the irrigation schedules and assists in the event support area.

Submitting a Service Request

Service requests can be submitted online through the AiM system which allows for the creation of new Service Requests, as well as the ability to monitor and query for existing Requests. Faculty, Staff, and Students* are welcome to use this online tool.  Email Facilities to get your AiM login information.

We highly encourage customers to submit requests Online; however, you can alternatively choose to send an email to Facilities-CSC@scu.edu or call the Customer Service Center at (408) 554-4742.
