Facilities

Mission

The Facilities Department supports the mission of Santa Clara University by coordinating and accomplishing the planning, design, creation, operation, and maintenance of a quality physical environment that fosters excellence in teaching, learning, scholarship and administration. Achieving this goal requires a solid foundation of values, which defines the focus, priorities and direction of our commitment. Three essential values are:

Customer Service, Quality of Work Life, and Efficient Use of Resources.

As we examine the way we do business, solve problems and make changes, we strive to use these three values as guidelines for assessing and proposing solutions. Every action, decision and initiative undertaken should be consistent with at least one of these three values and should never compromise one value to enhance another.

Administration includes a diverse group of individuals providing a variety of systems and services, which allow other Facilities Teams to achieve excellence.
