Storm Drain Placards
Storm drains located in campus parking lots, vehicle roadways and other locations have now been labeled with a "No Dumping - Drains to Bay" placard. These are similar to what you've probably seen on city property and the intent is to not only educate people on where the effluent flows that goes down these drains but also serve as a reminder to not pour anything down them. In general, the law only allows rain water and irrigation water to flow down a storm drain so it's important we all do our part to prevent improper discharges to our storm system.
