Buck Shaw Stadium was named after a former Santa Clara football coach, Lawrence T. “Buck” Shaw. This 6800-seat facility is home to the Santa Clara University soccer teams and hosted the 1996 NCAA Women’s Soccer Championship. In 1996, the student body voted to move graduation ceremonies into Buck Shaw stadium, where it continues to reside to this day.
