Preparing for Emergency Situations
SCU Departments are “HOME BASE” for their faculty and staff members following a major campus-wide emergency such as a massive earthquake.The Department Emergency Plan Template is a fill-in-the-blank tool for each Department to be prepared to support its Faculty and Staff in a major emergency. The Department Emergency Plan Template includes forms for identifying:
- Key Department personnel for emergency situations;
- Identifies who might need help in evacuating;
- A sign-in list to account for Faculty and Staff status following major emergency; and
- Identifies critical operations, resources and mitigation measures that will help protect the Department’s assets, improve recovery efforts and return to normal operations.
