Position Description: 

  • Manages SCU's Emergency Management and Preparedness Programs

Directly Responsible for: 

  • Emergency Planning , Policy and Procedures
  • Supporting Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)
  • Emergency Operations Plan (EOP)
  • Evacuation Lead Program and Coordination
  • Emergency Mass Notification System Design, Policy and Procedures
  • Emergency Planning Liaison with the City and County of Santa Clara
  • Emergency Preparedness and Staff Training
  • Working closely with Campus Safety Services

Qualifications:

  • Certified Emergency Manager (CEM)
  • FEMA Professional Development Series (2006)
  • Federal Communication Commission (FCC) - License KG6EJJ

Hobbies: Photography, fishing, online gaming, and traveling with family
