Professional Soccer Schedule

The San Jose Earthquakes and the FC Gold Pride have contracted with SCU to play their professional soccer matches at Buck Shaw Stadium on the Santa Clara Campus throughout the 2009 calender year. SCU has committed four parking venues for the Earthquakes exclusive use. These include:

Parking Structure—all floors
3rd Mission Lot-adjacent to SCU main Entrance,
The Leavey Lot, The Accolti Way F Spaces
& The Loyola Hall Lot

  • All vehicle must be removed from these four parking locations by the times listed in the Parking Lot Closure Schedule. » Info
  • Vehicles remaining in these locations past these times are subject to citation and removal at the owner's expense.
  • Resident students who have F permits may park in the Cowell Facilities Lot B spaces. F Permited vehicles must be removed by 6 AM on the day following the schedule game (or on Mondays when games occur on a Saturday or Sunday).
  • Faculty and Staff who are traveling during weeks when games are schedules may not leave their vehicles on campus in any of these four listed parking venues.
  • Santa Clara P.D. has also advised that parking on southbound El Camino Real between Accolti Way and The Alameda will be prohibited on game days. 

On Campus Parking is available for SCU Permit holders and non-affiliates attending University events after the listed lot closures in the following parking areas:

Palm Drive and Alviso St.
South Bannan Lot (adjacent to Bannan Hall)
Franklin Lot (corner of Franklin & The Alameda)
Benson B Lot & Kids on Campus Lot (corner of Market & The Alameda)
Cowell Lot
Facilities Parking Lot

  • Vehicles parked in these locations after the posted lot closure times must display any valid SCU permit, even if the game occurs on a weekend.
  • There is no charge to park on the campus when games occur on a weekend.
  • Vehicles without permits are subject to citation and removal at the owner's expense.
  • Campus Resident Parking Lots (C, CN, CW, D and D Off-Campus) are not impacted by this event.
  • SCU officers will be posted at Palm Drive, Accolti Way and at the Franklin Lot to issue permits to non-affiliates coming to the campus after 4:30 PM for an SCU event.
  • SCU Department representatives and Event planners should be aware of these dates when considering the scheduling of events on campus.
